What you’ll need

• Home printer and 30x A4 sheet of copy paper (allow for more if printing multiple order forms, etc)
• Laminator and laminating sheets (optional)
• Dry erase marker (optional)
• Hole puncher and string (optional: to tie together the bunting and to create name tags)
• Props such as a cash register, juicer, grater, blender, jugs, shop stand/cart, straws, cups, aprons and fake fruit props (note: fake fruit props are optional as printable fruit props are included on pages 29-30, alternatively you can use open-ended props such as pom poms, cardboard/felt pieces or playdough)

2. To re-use the printables, laminate the items and trim accordingly. Use a dry erase marker on the order forms and name badges
3. To set-up the lemonade shop dramatic play centre, collect props to bring the lemonade store to life then label everything with the printable prop labels (pages 24, 25 & 28)
4. Ask children to decide who they want to pretend to be; fill-in the name badges (you can punch a hole at the top to turn the badges into a necklace or attach to clothing with safety pins)
5. Be intentional and guide students to practice reading the menu, labels and recipes
6. For older children, you can embed maths with the use of receipts
